She is very intelligent and logical, able to connect seemingly random pieces of information together. She can spot incongruities and puzzles. She is also obsessive when working on a job, and sometimes forgets to sleep. She is neither diurnal nor nocturnal; she has no regular sleeping schedule, and sleeps whenever she can.
Story:
She was an accident from a club meeting, and her father never contacted her mother, and her mother never told her who it was. She was raised for the first few years of her life by her mother, alone. She was often left in the apartment, and was told to stay out of sight whenever her mother brought someone home. Her mother cared for her in her own way, but one day Shatter wandered out, wanting to see the world. Her mother didn't go looking for her, and Shatter roamed for a little while. Shatter was near death in an alleyway when she was picked up by a local gang of street kids. They helped her get back to full health, and she started doing runs with them. One day, when she and a few others where escaping with the food they had stolen, Shatter felt her first strong emotion- fear. Her dull markings lit up with shimmering rainbow colors, and alerted the angry shop owner to where they were hiding. The food was taken away, and she and the rest of the group spent a night in the jail. When they were let out and went back to base, the leader refused to let Shatter back in. She wandered away, heartbroken. From then on, she made a resolution to never let her markings shine out again. She went to an orphanage, and as soon as she could, she went out and got a job. She was offered a job on a police team after she helped them solve a case that they had been working on for years. She is now an investigator for the police, and is almost never wrong when she convicts a suspect.
